Definitely like King Julien right off the bat, LOL! Apart from brief video clips, I dunno much about the movie, but I'm thinking Melman and Maurice will rank just below Julien on my list of favorite characters.

From what I've seen in the clips, I think Maurice's personality contrasts quite well with Julien's. He seems like a level-headed, straight-to-the-point character. LOL! That's funny! Your sister likes Mort, your brother likes Maurice, and you like Julien--all the lead lemurs have a fan!

LOL! Just his accent alone won me over. Also his "scatter-brained" qualities.  I love the way he is forever changing the subject in "I Like To Move It"--even though whatever it is he's talking about makes very little sense, ROTFL! It'll probably all come together when I finally see the film. |

No, not really, they don't even sing the whole song in the movie...NOT EVEN HALF! The whole song's in the credits! But that's so true, it's hard to understand what he means!

Holy cow! I can't believe they cut so much out! I've seen that clip (I watch it a lot, LOL!) but I thought that scene had to be longer. Oy! Please tell me the lemurs have a fair-sized role in the movie as a whole!

Yeah, actually they do. They're in the movie almost the whole time by the end of the movie!

Ah, what a relief, LOL! What can I say? Even going by movie clips, those dudes kinda grow on ya! Thanks! I just snatched some graphics off the official site and stuck them together. If you run the mouse over the "Gallery" tab on the site, Julien appears, so I just pressed Alt and Prt Scr, then pasted the image into Paint and saved it as a bitmap image, then I used Photo Deluxe to put the graphics together as a gif.

Yeah, when right-mouse clicking can't or won't work, Alt+Prt Scr and pasting to Paint comes in very handy, LOL! That's how I got the pic in my avatar as well.
