Meanwhile, Delilah was SCREAMING at her older brother.
"Bwoys awent thwuppwothed two cwy!"
Oliver turned to his lisping little sister. "But I haven't taken a shower for EIGHTEEN HOURS! *sob* I want a shower and new clothes and food and an MP3 player and my cat and my glasses and a computer and my MUMMY and... and... *sob* BEATRIX! NOW!" His temper tantrum could be heard all over the island, awakening all the fossa.
Delilah rubbed her ears. "Gwee... Woo awre a bwig bwabwy!" The human female then gave a flick of her curly platinum locks as she left her bratty AI sibling to fend for himself.
The spunky six-year-old sharpened the branch she carried with her on a rock, getting ready to hunt some lemur.
The older sibling gave a bloodcurdling shriek when he spotted a black panther spying on them.
Lolita approached the human male and licked the side of his face... and she had just eaten the remains of the genetically-modified snake which attacked her.
And as you may tell, Oliver didn't exactly like having blood, saliva and a few scales smeared onto his soft, pale skin.
This was the first human Lolita had seen for weeks, and boy, was she happy to see one.

Lolita noticed Joel. "Oh, hi Joel! I found two human people!" She seemed quite proud of her findings, as it was awfully hard to find a live human around here. "Aren't they cute?"
Oliver gave a strange look. "A panther interacting positively with a lemur? Oh no! I'm already going insane!"
Delilah rolled her eyes. "Woo were awlwayth inthwane..."

Delilah had always bragged that she was the fearless, brave 'warrior' she dreamed of becoming... But now that she was surrounded by wild animals with only her effeminate brother...
"Ohmwygwothdoooothwithiththoooanwowingth!" She screeched, not completely out of fear, but mostly out of frustration.
He ignored her.
"Uhmm..."
Yet again, Oliver ignored her.
"OWIVWER!"
He quickly turned towards her, his terribly blank, blue-flecked ebony eyes glaring into her sea-blue ones.
"I am not programmed to respond in that manner." His voice was in an unnatural, plain tone as he said this, Causing his sister to feel extremely uncomfortable...
Oliver's prosthetronic brain often let him get away with others believing him to be a true human being for a few months - but with Delilah, he had kept it up her entire life - six years.
Delilah felt awful, this was her worst nightmare - Not only was she stuck on an island with the most annoying person she had ever met, but he was a CYBORG - the one monster she feared had been living in her brother's room.
"Stop moping, sis. We are surrounded by wild animals... Even though they're mostly lemurs - but we are still surrounded by wild animals!"
Delilah rolled her eyes. "I knwow! Gwee..."
The two siblings paused for a moment, then huddled close together.
Lolita advanced onto them. "Awww... Aren't you two just so cute?"
This had translated into purring for the humans.
She turned to the lemurs once more. "Come on... I'm sure they're not bad... Look at them! They're sooo sweet - Can we keep them? Pleeeease?" Lolita begged, as if she were a lonely human child begging her parents for a dog who followed her home.

Lolita was appauled. She hated being proven stupid. "You're talking about them like they're rats... with the black plague!" She roared, then reverted back to her 'little-girl' ways. "Aw can I please keep them? I always wanted a pet!" Her bottom 'lip' quivered, much like a small child.
Obviously, there was a reason they called her 'Lolita' out of all the variations of Delores.

When Oliver had at this time recovered from waterlog of his prothestronic brain, his emergency translator had activated for the very first time - set to universal language of nature.
"Please excuse us, but do you happen to know where the two of us human beings... well, she's a human and I'm a cyborg but do you happen to know where the two of us can stay for the night?" His head bowed forward slightly as he gave a nervous one-dimpled smile.
Quite understandably, as the Universal Nature Code came out to those who cannot speak it as animal sounds, Delilah had heard this as a series of grunts, squeaks and simple two-letter words which mostly weren't in the English dictionary - in other words, caveman speak.
Lolita was shocked about two things - a human has finally cracked the Universal Nature Code, and the fact that Oliver's brain was a sentient computer that could go ballistic, kill his sister and try to feed her to Mort if a single digit of binary became lost.
Yet, she still seemed to trust the humans, as she happened to be one of those weirdoes who attempted to get all chummy with (almost) anything that moved.
"Oh! You two cute widdle things can stay with us if you like, just don't mind Julian, he's so quick to judge..." She nudged every animal around her.
"Just because they're human does not immediately make them evil! Don't judge so quickly... You let me right onto your side of the island when I first came here!" Lolita whispered raspily to Jr.
She then set her attention back to the dollfaced male human. "So, how about it?"
Oliver nervously nodded. Besides, having only a nasty little sister as company isn't quite a nice experience.
Poor Delilah had no idea what was going on...

Lolita sighed. "There's a Hippo and a Giraffe in a couple somewhere on this island, too..."
"Since we are going to be stuck on this island, I might as well introduce us. My name is Oliver Reginald-Hagan Gawrys and I'm eleven years old. My little sister is Delilah Bella-Jane Gawrys. Do any of you have a name?"
Lolita giggled. "My name is Delores Frangelica Parkinson, yes, we do have names..."
