ICE AGE 2: THE MELTDOWN!

I say it's a tie between the two!!! I adored the film, I saw it on Saturday!!! WE had this HUGE party to see it too! Here's how it went. At 4:45 Me (Ellie) and my sister (Crash and Eddie) left our house to go to our friends Marlee's house, (Marlee was Manny adn this party was for her b-day, so the whole time, it was Manny's b-day, SO FUN!) Her sisters Annie (Diego) and Hayley (Sid) Joined us. We got there at 5:00 p.m. the first thing I noticed when I walked in was a blue bedsheet hanging over the entrance to the living room, on it was a hand-drawn picture of Scrat, and about 6 or 7 hand drawn pirannahs surrounding him. when I went through the barrier... it was the Ice Age!!!! They had LITERALLY covered their living room floor in blue plastic... cut out 7 HUGE white pieces of paper and taped that to it... creating ice floes (By the end of the night, all the ice floes were torn up) and they had an iceberg sticking up too! They had black "Vulture Feathers" laying in random places (Me and Hannah each got to take one home!) and they had 2 strings hanging across the celing from which were hanging makeshift icecicles made from twisted white and blue paper. They had a tree from which were hanging drawings of Crash and Eddie (Sadly mis-labled.... Crash was labled as Eddie and Eddie was labled as Crash...) that was cute..But the best thing was a handdrawn poster-size picture of Manny and Ellie locking trunks hanging above the fireplace!!! (I got to keep that too!) After Me and Hannah had gotten out our stuffies of Manny,Ellie,Sid,Diego,Crash and Eddie, we unloaded our books (The Essential Guide, Official Novel and The Great Escape Novel) while they got out their books (A Mammoth Mixup, the Coloring Book, and the see-and-find book) After that we got out the Ice Age 2 fruitsnacks me and Hannah brought and situated ourselves each on an ice floe to watch Ice Age. After it was over, we had dinner (McDonalds Burgers) and they gave us our first gift... Two of those mugs that already have water in them, mine had blue water and Hannah's had pink. Once we finished eating (During which we watched "King Of Queens") We grabbed our purses and got in the car to go to the 7:45 airing of Ice Age 2!!! We stayed during the credits sitting and laughing of the lame quality pictures of each other... (MINE WERE SO BAD!) on the movie screen. After that, we went out to the lobby and took pictures, (Marlee, Hayley and Annie took a pic in front of Diego, Marlee, Hayley and Annie took 2 pics in front of Sid, Marlee, Hayley and Annie took a picture in front of Manny {their mom took a pic of me in front too!} and ALL of us took a pic in front of Ellie and the wave one!) Then we headed back to teh house, once there we had Marlee open her presents (Cleverly wrapped to look like Ice!) which were a copy of the Essential guide book, and action figures of Manny,Ellie, Crash,Eddie,Sid, Diego, Maelstrom, Cretaceous and Scrat. Then we ate cake, and, in honor of the Mini-Sloths and to cheer up Hayley who, after the movie decided she didn't want to be Sid anymore played "Sid Says" Hannah won, so it was "Crash and Eddie says" then I won so it was "Ellie Says" Then it was marlee's turn (Manny says) then finally after Annie got to do (Diego Says) we stopped our best dares were...

Hayley: Grab the stuffie of the one you love (me and hannah still in, I grabbed Manny, she grabbed Ellie)

Me; Open one of the chapter books and read the first sentence on teh page you open too (Hannah and Hayley still in)

Marlee; Act like the dodo's (all four remaining, ran around in circles yelling "PREPARE FOR THE ICE AGE, PROTECT THE DODO WAY OF LIFE, GET THE MELONS!")

Annie; SIng like the Vultures, (Me, Hannah and Hayley ran around in circle, flapping arms singing "FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD!")

Hannah: Give a Mammoth a hug! (Hayley and Annie ran over and gave me a hug, I had to somehow work my way over to Marlee and give her a hug!)

So we played those for quite a while, after that we played musical ice bergs!! (Me and Hannah tied) and then a little more Sid Says, then it was time for bed!!! (Hayley acctually did the Sid kicking in air thing!)

The next morning when we woke up... we had buscuits which were good, and then we got dressed and went outside for a game of "Acorn Finders" in which we had to search for plastic easter eggs painted brown that Annie hid... I stank...

Then they gave us our Goodie bags which were vinyl boxes (Mine seetrough blue, and hannah's see through pink)with skittles, m and m's, one of the fethers, the toy from MickeyD's.. pens, stationary and pic frames!!!

Then they took me and Hannah outside and gave us blindfolds, they said to crawl around on our stomach in the FRONT LAWN mind you, until we found another gift....guess what htey were!!!

HUGE and I mean HUGE stuffies of Simba and Nala from lion king!!!! (I got Nala... ha ha!) and we got to KEEP THEM!!! then... we went back inside, packed up and took down decorations (Saddest part of party... bye bye ice age landscape!) then played with the figures, I got out a bag of real acorns I gathered the day before adn we played with them as well (note: Acorn caps are cool hats for actoin figures... they look HOT on girl mammoths!)

Then it was time to go.... Sigh.... I miss hte party already... I will n ever forget it, it was the funnest time of my entire life... thanks Marlee,Annie, And Hayley... I love ya guys!

In the movie, wasn't it sooooooooooooo sad when Ellie had that flasback. It was so cute! I nearly cried at the end when they got together!

I watched, and I'm still a dir hard madagascar fan, dont get me wrong, ice age 2 was good, but i like madagascar more...

Me Too! Even though I was expecting it... a tear of happiness filled my eyes when I saw their trunks FINALLY after 3 months of waiting for it to happen...lock. *Smiles just thinking of it* and the look on Ellie's face when seh nuzzled him was heart-filling too!

Also, Yes, I LOVED the flashback!!! ELLIE WAS SOOOOO CUTE!!! Trumpeting with her little teensy trunk!!!! CUTE!! I wanted to jump in there and help her SO BAD!! And the momma possum looked real nice, and the boys... ooooh... so cute with their little tuffs of fur sticking up... awww!!! I love seeing our new buddies as babies.
