www.ropeofsilicon.com/Images/moviestills/i/iceage2/1.jpgAs you probably already know, Ice Age 2 is coming out on March 31st, and what I am going to do here is tell you about it... ok, it's been about maybe I'm guessing a year since the whole Ice Age story... and things have been preety relaxing for our sub zero heroes: That is until the ice around the valley starts melting! At first, the animals all think it's a blast treating it like the world's a huge water park. Chaos ensues when our friends find out where this water is coming from.. and noone believes them! www.ropeofsilicon.com/Images/moviestills/i/iceage2/8.jpgOf course, there's a whole new cast of characters to meed including: Fast Tony www.ropeofsilicon.com/Images/moviestills/i/iceage2/4.jpgTwo Oppossums: www.ropeofsilicon.com/Images/moviestills/i/iceage2/7.jpgAnd one more new character is going to be added in, now before we introduce them, I must remind you that in the first movie, it was revealed that Manny is the only Wolly Mammoth living, well, he was WRONG!! There isn't only one mammoth living... there are two... Meet our third new character (and my personal favorite!): Ellie: www.ropeofsilicon.com/Images/moviestills/i/iceage2/14.jpgA FEMALE Wolly Mammoth, Manny's age, and the only other one living! When Sid and Diego hear about htis they go nuts: www.ropeofsilicon.com/Images/moviestills/i/iceage2/20.jpgAnd with a little nudging and persuading on their parts ("She's really fun, you're really boring, she completes you!") I think it rocks that Ice Age 2 is finally coming out! I have the cutest pic of Manfred and Ellie together! I could e-mail it to u if you want.....but i need your address, it's not online anymore and the only way you would be able to see it is if i send it 2 u. If u don't wanna give out your address u don't have to but it's a pretty good pic!!! OMG I CAN'T WAIT! When i heard about it two years ago i was soooooooooooo excited i fell out of my chair!!!! LOL! Thats all i do all day long, look for new news on it! I know pretty much everything about it so far, if u need any news u can ask me.

How often does Fairbanks, Alaska, have a Hollywood star coming here — in wintertime?" said thingy Brickley, chairman of Ice Alaska, sponsor of the annual World Ice Art Championships kicking off Tuesday.
Leguizamo will arrive at an ice stage March 12, officials said Friday. The actor will then help Gov. Frank Murkowski cut through an ice ribbon with blow torches.
"Ice Age 2: The Meltdown" stars characters voiced by Leguizamo and other actors. Leguizamo has starred in "Moulin Rouge" and "Land of the Dead."
Besides towering sculptures, the monthlong ice festival this year will feature huge carvings of Sid the sloth, voiced by Leguizamo, and other characters from the "Ice Age" movies. The sequel opens March 31.
The Hollywood visit means more attention to the yearly ice art festival, considered a world-class competition. The event matches teams racing to create intricate carvings than can be as tall as 30 feet and weigh more than 22 tons!
Pretty cool huh?! They are actually doing this in Alaska!

But when it comes to ice and snow carvings! Alaska's not the only one! cuz saw on the news one day there was a Hotle made of snow and ice In Canada!and you could stay there over night and stuff! Cool eh?! ( sorry kj Rox I couldn't help myslef! ^_^)

Yeah, they should have the ICE AGE 2 party in the ICE HOTEL!! Rofl... he he, me and my friends made a role play club called, what else, "The Sub-Zero Heroes" and we are planning to go see Ice Age 2 on the second day it is out!!! I got the role of Ellie, (Note: It is HARD to stand upsidedown!) Anyway, I bought the Junior Novelization and the Essential Guide Book, so I am happy and this movie is going to kick but, the novel was WONDERFUL!

I KNOW! They recently put up new stuff, I downloaded the Ellie background, and am using it, and I tried to get the sid screensaver, and the Ellie icon, but I can't! GRRRRR! It makes me mad! YAY! Only 20 days till it comes out! (and 21 days till I see it! yatta!)
