Go ahead and laugh. This looks waaaaaaaaaaaay out of proportion to me, LOL! I think his head and neck turned out okay, but there's really something wrong with the rest of his body--looks too small, doesn't it?  |

Come on! My Melman picture was of him in doll form...it hardly compares to this! And his hoofs look fine to me!

Yeah, but mine isn't exactly "free hand". I had a picture of Melman in front of me for reference, LOL! I'm almost to a point where I can draw Julien without looking at anything though.

Yeah, me too. But it always turns out looking weird when I try him in my own pose...(Have you ever tried to draw a lemur from the side with their snout poking out? I have trouble with it! If you've ever done it, can you tell me how! Mine alway look to long or to short or to fat or skinny!) PS: Here's a picture I drew after I saw the movie for the first time! I love that scene and that quote. I know more of his mouth should be showing but I had no reference! I'll re-draw it sometime! This was done like the begining of June.)  |

LOL! That quote is hilarious! Man, that is really good for having no ref! And drawing the characters looking directly at the viewer is always hard (for me anyway). That's great! Hmm...as far as the lemurs go, I haven't drawn a sideshot yet. Most of them are at the same angle I drew Morathi in.

Oh, I do sideshots a lot! (I did a sideshot today at church when I drew a picture of the guy I like as a lemur...Don't ask...I was bored, I do weird things when I'm bored!
Then my friend looked over and said asked if that wasn't him...I couldn't lie! We both laughed!

LOL! Caricatures are cool! I've drawn my family members as animals and cartoon characters. I've also done the same thing to myself once in a while, hehe.

I'm glad to hear that. I love to make people laugh! It's almost like a contest though because just about every one of your posts with Julien is hilarious, ROTFL! Hey, I had a question about that Photoshop download. When you create an Adobe id or whatever, do they ask for billing information or is it just totally free? I don't have an Adobe id yet and I'm hoping it doesn't cost anything to get one, LOL!
