The Wild Side
Chapter 1: Thunderstruck


This is a story about 3 friends. They all loved the movie madagascar. They loved the movie so much, that they would often meet up to role play about it with their own characters. They loved the movie, but they loved the lemurs more than anything. So, they made all their characters lemurs. Each of their characters was basicly them in in a lemur form. There was Josh, who character was named Joel. Joel was a ring-tailed lemur. There was Torii, who character was named Tiki. Tiki was a female brown lemur with a white stomache and a white ring around her head . And there was courtney, who's character was a female ring-tailed lemur named Ayanna. They made their characters as them self because, even though they really wanted to, they would never experience the thrill and fun of being one of the lemurs from madagascar. But little did they know how wrong they would be... and this is were our story begins...


Our three friends were in a chat together, Rping with their characters. Josh having Joel goof off at the waterfall, and Torii and courtney having Tiki, and Ayanna dream about King Julien. On this wounderful night, Josh, Torii, and Courtney all had a storm going on around where they lived, even thought none of them lived near each other. Of cource, they never thought nothing of it. As they RP'ed it started to thunder and lightning outside. Then, the power cords were hit with lightning and a shock was sent up to all of their computers. The sudden shock traveled up the wires and into all their computers. Their computers then shook and made weird humming noises. Then, all three of them were giving a shock wich knocked the breath out of them. Josh was laying on his floor, been knocked out of his chair. He slowly rose to his knees, then to his feet and examined himself, then his computer. "What the...." Josh thought out loud. He then looked back to his computer and typed in the chat window where he, Torii, and courtney had been RP'ing. "Hey guys?! You'll never guess what just happened to my comp!"

"Man, my comp just gave me a huge shock!" Torii exclaimed, checking her self to see if she was ok.

"REALLY?! That's what happened to me too!" said Josh.

"You guys, that happened to me too. Whats going on?" Courtney asks.

"Hmmm...... IDK...." said Josh.

"Maybe it was the internet? Or, there is a thunder storm where I am right now." said Coutney.

"There's a thunder storm where you is too? Same here! This is just getting weird." said Torii.

"OMG! Same here!!!!1" Josh said.

"Weird..." Courtney and Torii say. All of a sudden, a cold chill came apon Torii. She began to feel a little woozy. "Umm... guys, I'm starting not to feel good.... I think I may call it a night..."

"Oh, why? That won't happen again. Pls stay and RP?" Josh pleaded. Then he also felt the cold chill and he became woozy. "Oh second thought, I might call it a night too, I'm feeling weird"

"You guys are abandoning me? Oh....." said courtney.

"I'm sorry guys, I just can't do it.... I G2G. Bye." Said Torii.

"Oh, ok..." said courtney. *Tiki has left the conversation* "Well, can you try to stay up, Joel?"

"Ummm...." Then courtney began to fall victim to the weird feeling of cold chills and wooziness.

"I want too, but I just really feel like crud right now.... I'm sorry..." said Josh.

"It's OK. I'm starting to get tired anyways...." said courtney. "I think I'll head off too...."

"Ok, I'll hopefuly see you, and Tiki, tomorrow..... bye."

"Ya, i hope so too, bye" Josh and Courtney then logged off their computers and made themself ready for bed. They then headed to bed, woundering why they all felt so weird and what happened with their comps.

"Stupid Bill Gates..." Josh mumbled as he crawled into his bed. "Whatever this is, I hope I'm better tomorrow...." Josh then turned off his little light and went to sleep. Strangely, that night, Josh, Courtney, and Torii all had dreams about thier characters and about madagascar. Its not strange about what was in their dreams, it was that they were all similar.....

Chapter 2: We're not on kansas anymore....


Josh rolled around in his bed trying to get a few more minutes of sleep in. He tossed and turned but coulsn't get back to sleep so he thought it was best to get up. He threw back his covers and stood up to stretch. Still half asleep, amd eyes blurry, he made his way to where his kitchen should have been located, But insted of his kitchen, he walked into a small room with a desk, table, and a few chairs. Josh finaly realises this when he wipes his eyes a bit. He looked around and then it hits him. This isn't his house! Josh continued to look around until his eyes came to a door. He runs for it and opens it. He steps outside and is knocked back by what he sees. He is in the middle of a jungle. To his right is a cliff with a waterfall on it. Several feet away at the bottom of the waterfall, there is a small pound with a river leading into the jungle. And then, straight ahead of his door was a path leading away. Josh looked around in horror. He then started to panic. He ran around a bit. He stopped and looked at what he had been in and it was a small hut, made of sticks, leafs, and vines. Josh sits down on the spot and rocks back and forth trying to figure out where he is. He then notices how thirsty he was. He went over to the pond bu the waterfall to get a drink. He reached the ponds edge and he stretched out his hands to cup some water. As he did so he noticed that his hands were black and his arms were covered in fur. He jumped up from surprise and began to panic more. He looked down at his feet, those were also black and his legs were also covered in fur. He looked at his stomache and that was covered in fur too. Josh looked behind himself to get a glance at his back and yelled when he saw that he now had a black and white ringed tail. "Whats going on?!" Josh finaly managed to croak. Josh then ran back to the pond and looked into the water. He saw the reflection of a lemur. "Ahhh!" Josh yelled falling backwards. Josh sat there in disbelief for awile then it came to him. This is his character's Joel's hut. He lived at the waterfall. He was also a ring-tailed lemur! "Oh my god.... I think I'm Joel!" Josh said to himself. He sat there and thought about it for a couple of minutes when he came to the conclusion that it all made sence. "Ok. I'm Joel. I'm in madagascar. I'm....... losing my mind! Ok. I'm ok...... what now?" Joel asked himself. He thought about it for a minute. "I know! I'll go to Tiki! Oh, wait.... where is Tiki hut?" Josh asks himself. "Well, in the RP's, Joel always came across Tiki's hut on his way to the main part of Julien's Kingdom.... so I'll follow that trail?" He asks himself again. Josh then shrugs and heads off down the trail, hopefult, twords Tiki.

As all that was happening, Torii was now waking up. She sat up and wiped the sleep from her eyes and noticed she is in a small hut. "What?! Where am I?!" She got up and ran to another room and out a door to find herself in the same situation as Josh. She was in the middle of the jungle. She put a hand on her mouth and felt she had a snout. "What?!" She looks herself over and is now known that she was a lemur. "I'm a lemur! I'm.... I think I'm..... Tiki!" She didn't panic as much as Josh did. She kept mostly calm about this. "I have to be Tiki. I fit her discription! And this!" She walk out and pointed at her hut. "This is her hut! I must be in madagascar! But how?" She asked herself but didn't have time to think about it, for the was a lemur running twords her. It was Joel. "Who is that?" she asked herself. "Who are you?!" she asked the lemur as he reached her.

"I'm Josh. I mean Joel. I mean....... I don't know....... are you Tiki?"

"No, my names Torii. Wait! Did you say your name was Josh?!" she asks.

"Torii?! Yes, it's me, Josh! I woke up this morning as Joel! I'm so glad to see you!"

"I'm happy to see you too! I woke up this morning as Tiki! What's going on?"

"I don't know! This is majorly messed up though!"

"Ok, we're lemurs in madagascar! We're also our lemur charaters! How is this possible?! Wait! Do you think this has something to do with our computers last night?"

"It might... I don't know what to think right now...." Joel replies.

"Ok, so if your here and I'm here. Where's Ayanna, I mean Courtney?" Tiki asks. Just then they her a girl screaming and they run off to see what it was. They run for about 30 seconds and come across a female ring-tailed lemur. Who was outside their hut, jumping and screaming. "Courtney?!" The lemur stopped and looked at them.

"Torii? Josh?"

"Yuppers" replied Joel.

"Oh my god, am I happy to see you! Guess what?! I'm Ayanna!!!" She said with a big smile.

"We kinda noticed...." replied Tiki. "And I'm Tiki, and Josh is Joel..."

"Ya!!! ISN'T THIS KOOOL??!!!!!" she more yelled than asked.

"No, this is not...." Joel started then he stopped and thought about it. "actually, this is pretty KOOL!"

"This is our dream! It's come true!" Tiki said.

"YAY!!!!!!" they all yelled. They then jumped around.

"Well, you three look like your having fun...." someone said from behind them.

They all stop jumping and look behind them to see..... "King Julien?" Joel asked.

Chapter 3: You know our names?

"Yes, plese feel free to basque in my glow." Julien says doing a little twirl around. "So, why are you, Tiki, and Ayanna all jumpy over?"

"Wait," Tiki started. "you know our names?"

"Yes, I do have a brain under this crown...." He says pointing at the top of his head. "Wait.... have I got it on?"

"Yes, you have it on." Joel replies.

"Oh, good. Now, why are you three so happy? Is it the rave we're having tonight?"

"There is a rave tonight?" Ayanna asked.

"Why yes, there is. Didn't you hear about it?" Julien asked.

"Umm.... no, we didn't." Said Tiki.

"Well, now you know......" Julien then noticed that Tiki and Ayanna were staring at him. "Tiki, Ayanna? Why are you looking at me like that? Huh! Is there something on my face?" Julien asks as he wipes his face with his hands.

"No, you don't have anything on your face...." Ayanna says. "It's just..."

"we think your cute!" Tiki says.

"You tink I'm cute?" Julien asks, blushing slightly.

"Yuppers!" Tiki and Ayanna reply. Julien smiles a bit, and they smile back at him.

"Ahem!" Joel cuts in. Julien then comes out of his little trance.

".....what? Oh, yes! I have to go get ready for the rave. I'll see you two," Julien remembers Joel. "three at the rave." Julien then bows and prances off.

"Well, we have a little while before the rave. What do you guys want to do?" Tiki asks.

"I don't know. I can't wait for the rave, though! I want to see Julien sing!" Ayanna says.

"Yes, I can't wait to see his preformence live. It should be very entertaining! I can't dance though...." Joel says.

"It's ok, you'll be fine! There will be so many people, I mean lemurs, there it won't matter that much." Tiki assured him.

"You're right, but what if we dance with someone?" Joel asks.

"Well.... will take care of that when it happens..." said Ayanna. "Anyway, what are we gonna do to pass the time?"

"Well, we have to ask ourself one thing. W.W.J.D.." Said Joel.

"W.W.J.D.?" asks Tiki.

"Whats that mean?" asks Ayanna.

"What Would Joel Do." replies Joel with a smile.

"Oh... well, thats obivious! He'd go to the waterfall!" says Tiki.

"Ooooooooook, sounds alright to me." says Ayanna.

"Yay!" Says Joel, he then did a back flip. "Woa....." says Joel surprised. Tiki and Ayanna clap.

"What? Did you hurt yourself?" asks Tiki.

"No, it's just I've never did that before. I'm not a very acrobatic person." says Joel.

"Maybe it's cause your Joel? Joel always did that stuff in the RP's..." guessed Ayanna.

"Maybe.... oh well, to the waterfall!" says Joel, running of to his hut. Tiki and Ayanna follow. When they reach his hut they look around.

"Now what?" asks Ayanna.

"Don't we always climb the waterfall?" asks Tiki, looking up.

"Ya.... but I can't climb that cliff!" says Ayanna.

"It's ok! There is a rope ladder behind my hut!" says Joel.

"There is?" asks Tiki.

"I'm not sure. But there was one in my RP. so maybe...." Joel says going behind his hut. "Yup! Here's the ladder!" Joel said starting to climb. "Come on, guys!"

"Ok..." Tiki said, following Joel.

"Are you sure it's safe?" asks Ayanna.

Tiki and Joel both yell back. "Yes!"

"Ok, you didn't have to yell...." Ayanna began to climb the ladder. They all reached the top and gazed off. "WOW!" Ayanna exclaimed.

"It's everything I imagined it to be...." said Tiki, looking at the view of King Julien's kingdom.

"It sue is amazing...." Joel said. Joel then smelled something. He began to sniff the air. "Mmm, whats that good smell?!" Tiki and Ayanna sniff the air and smell it also. "It's coming from over here." Joel said, walking off to the side. He walked around the bushes to find a nice big mango. "Oooooo....." Joel said, gazing at what he found. Joel picked it up and brought it back to Tiki and Ayanna. Joel set it down between all three of them. Seeing it reminded them that they never really ate anything today. "You know, I am kind of hungry...." Joel said.

"Ya, me too." said Tiki. She rubs her stomache.

"Mmmm....." Ayanna said.

"OK, lets eat it then." Joel said.

"Ok." Tiki said ripping a piece out of the mango. She nibbled on a piece. "Mmmm! This is soo good!"

"Really?" Ayanna asked taking some too. "Oh, this is good! You have to try some, Joel!"

"ok." Joel took his even share of the mango and ate some. "I never really liked mango, but I have to admit. This is GOOD!" They laughed and ate the rest of the mango. "That was good..."

"It sure was..." said Tiki.

"yup.." Ayanna says noticing how dark it was getting. "Hey shouldn't we be getting to the rave?"

"Oh my god! We're gona be late!" Joel said even though they had no idea what time it was. He tryed to get up but tipped over himself. He began to fall twords the waterfall, he grabbed Tiki's arm and she began to fall too. Tiki grabbed Ayanna's arm, but she fell to. They all fell into the waterfall. Ahhhhhhhh!" Joel screamed as they fell.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" Ayanna yelled.

"Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! Tiki laughed. They got to the pond at the bottom ok. "That was fun!" Tiki said.

"Ya, it was!" Joel laughed. As he swam for the edge of the pond to get out.

"It was scary!" said Ayanna.

"Oh, wasn't it a little fun?" asked Tiki as she climbed out too.

"....it was a little..." Ayanna said climbing out.

"There's the spirit! Now, lets get dry and to that rave!" said Joel. They all dried themselfs and then headed off to Tiki's hut. When they got there, they followed the other lemurs. They came to a opening with a tree, and rock ledge. There was music playing, and all of the lemurs were dancing. Tiki, Ayanna, and Joel were in a small group, dancing when they seen someone step out on to the branch of the tree. The music stopped and all the lemurs looked up. It was King Julien.
