Got Madagascar on DVD yesterday, watched it, loved it! Melman and King Julien are hilarious and I found myself really liking the penguins as well. The Christmas Caper is cute too. Anyway, they never did show this at the dumpy little opera house in my town, but it was well worth the wait for it to come out on DVD. ;D

Yes, I agree, Julien and Melman are definantly my two favorites. Julien definantly has some of the best lines in the movie, I even see you put one of my favorites in your siggy! Anyway, I also watched it yesterday and it was well worth the wait!
King Julien...by the way, I'm glad you're back, haven't talked in awhile!

Thanks! It's good to be back. ;D I'm so glad I've finally seen this film. I love the part when Julien pitches a fit about Mort being too close to his feet, ROTFL! All the characters are kind of endearing in some way. Even the two chimps cracked me up--and monkeys are not exactly on my favorite animal list...and here I am liking lemurs now, LOL!

Yes! Another one of my favorite lines is when Marty says that Alex is the king and he should give them a show and Julien throws a fit saying he's the king...he has the crown! Wait, I do have it on? ;D I love that part!

Yeah, that was funny. It's always funny to see him get bent out of shape over the most trivial things, LOL! I thought the repeated "You suck your thumb?" gag with Alex was funny too. Then I laughed my head off when the lemurs are waving to the zoosters in the end and Julien says "Maurice, my arm is getting tired. Wave it for me." ROTFL!
