"Oh, you wanna spar, do ya?" Julius smirks, narrowing his eyes at Joel and rolling up his "sleeves" as he squares off with the lemur who dares to oppose him, "As you wish. Haaaiiii-yah!"
He leaps into the air and pulls an eagle strike on Joel, his foot connecting with the other lemur's chest and kicking him back. Julius pushes off him and bounces back on the ground, landing in a martial arts pose. He then grabs a long, pole-like stick and twirls it around.
"Bring it on, foul fire-breathing creature!" he barks at Joel, his insanity talking again as one might assume he is hallucinating, "I'll use your face as a footstool!"

Joel catches his breath, then hops to his feet."You think I can't take a hit?"Joel asked, before jumping in the air and round-housing him in his face.

Tiki runs after Julien and stops him in his tracks. "Well, we gotta think of something! We can't just let this fire burn down the entire tribe!" She stopped, then turned and looked Julien right in the eyes. "We don't have much time!"[/color]

Julius reels back, recovers, and uses the stick to his advantage, swiping it under Joel's legs and knocking his feet out from under him. He then swings up into a tree that isn't yet on fire and does a little victory dance.
"I win! I win!" he shouts, jumping up and down, "And now, I'm going to do my 'In-Your-Face' dance! In your face! In your face! Uh-huh! In your face! LOSER!!!"
Of course, he's being completely delusional in his gloating as this battle is far from over. He leaps into a burning tree and grabs a branch from it, then takes it back to the undamaged tree and sets it ablaze. After that, he heads deeper into Julien's territory.
"No more distractions," he hisses to himself, "Now it's time to finish off pwecious widdle Julien once and for all."
He soon reaches the place where Tiki is trying to calm a hysterical King Julien and, stepping out of the shadows Julius grins evilly, catching Tiki by the wrist.
"Hello, my dear," he growls, his eyes flicking over to Julien, "Hello...little brother. Surprised?"

Julien gasps as he beholds his frightfully insane older brother. His outline glowing due to a backdrop of leaping red flames makes Julius look like a creature escaped from a terrible nightmare and Julien can only stare in fear for several minutes.
"Julius...?" he shakes his head, finding his tongue, "I should have recognized your handiwork! You let her go dis instant! I command you!"

*Joel starts to cough from all the smoke, he takes a leap out of the burning bushes."Uhh.... I gotta get to tiki and julien..."Joel starts to run in the direction that Julius went.

"You think it's that easy?" Julius asks incredulously while maintaining his vise-like grip on Tiki's arm, "That you can just command me and I'll do as you say? Sorry, little brother. It doesn't work that way. I'm not one of your little robot subjects."
His icy gaze flits back to Tiki and he frowns at her. He doesn't plan on hurting her--but he certainly isn't going to willingly release her either.
"As for you," he growls at her, narrowing his eyes, "You little traitor. I'll see to it that you are never permitted to leave my side of the island ever again! You're coming back with me."

"Don't do dis, Julius," Julien speaks evenly, trying to remain calm and talk his brother down rather than try to fight him and further instigate things, "You're not tinking in your right mind right now. Just let her go and we can work tings out, okay? King-to-king...brudder-to-brudder? What do you say?"

Joel has climbed up in the trees as he went, and has now come upon Julius, tiki and julien. He watched trying to think of what to do. He then gets and idea and grabs a near by vine. He makes sure it is secure, then he jumped from the tree and swung down."Ahhhhh!!" He tackled Julius, and bit into the hand he had tiki by..

"Well, so much for keeping him calm," Julien mutters, smacking himself in the forehead as he knows Joel's actions are only going to stir Julius up even more--then an idea occurs to him, "Joel, keep him busy and don't let him get away. I have a plan!"
Julien then runs as fast as he can back to his "palace" to fetch the supplies he will need to subdue his crazed brother.

*Tiki jumps away, glad to be free from Julius's grasp. She runs after Julien hoping Joel can actually keep Julius distracted for awhile.*

Julius yelps upon being bitten, but his insanity alone is enough to dull physical pain to a point where it does not bother him as much as it would a normal lemur. He makes a fist and slugs Joel in the nose.
"Get back here, Julien!" he bellows after his brother as he makes a break for it, "I still need to tear you limb from limb! I'm not finished with you yet!"
He tries to chase after Julien, but Joel prevents him from doing that easily, so he tries to get Joel out of his way so he can go after his brother.

Joel grabs Julius' hand with both of his and throws him over his head, then he pounces on him. He then begins to plant fist after fist into Julius, cursing him with every blow.

"Aha!" Julien heaves a sigh of relief as he finds what he has come for. Under his throne is a box containing tranquilizer darts and a blow-pipe with which to fire them.
"I am so glad I was able to get dese from Mr. Alex," he mutters as he shakily loads the pipe, "Dis worked on Julius de last time he attacked. Let's just hope it works again. Bring de rest of dese in case I miss."
He hands Tiki the box and then runs back through the burning jungle, beckoning her to follow. He hopes Julius hasn't done too much damage to Joel in the meantime.

Joel was still planting more blows to Julius, even though it was seeming to have no affect, he continued anyway.

Julius fights back with all of his might, biting, clawing, punching, kicking as he tries to free himself from Joel's grasp. At last, he strikes out with both feet and kicks Joel off, then he pounces him, sending both of them rolling dangerously close to the raging flames. A falling fiery branch barely misses them as they roll under it.
"I don't know why you think you have to interfere with this," Julius pants, breaking away to circle the other lemur before attacking him again, "This was never ay of your business. Julien destroyed my life and for that, he must pay. I'm going to destroy him the way he destroyed me or die trying!"

Joel pants heavily."Well, you ruined my life from the beginning. And every waking day after I escaped I only thought to get my revenge. This is my business, and the only way your getting to julien or tiki, is through me!"Joel lays a punch to his gut.

Tiki took the box and ran after Julien as fast as she could to reach Joel and Julius. By the time she caught up with Julien, she was huffing and puffing from exhaustion.

"I need to get a clear shot at his crazy behind," Julien grumbles, climbing out on a limb overlooking the stand-off taking place between Julius and Joel, "Are you all right, Tiki?"
He picks up the blow-pipe and stands poised to fire it as soon as he can target Julius in the right position. He doesn't want to hurt his brother, but he can't let him go on hurting innocent lemurs like he is.

"You wouldn't know anything about living a destroyed life!" Julius hisses, so far unaware of the presence of Tiki and Julien in the tree, "You still have your sanity! I have nothing left--Julien took it all away! And I aim to take it all back if it kills me!"

"I know enough! And as far as I'm concerned, you deserve everything you got! You cant blame Julien for your misfortune! After all, you were the one who set the jungle on fire last time, and since you're doing it again, you're just proving them right. And I'm afraid to tell you, if you keep trying to take back what isn't yours, then I guess you better be ready to die."
Joel swipes his feet out from under him.

Julius falls on his face, taking in a mouthful of dirt upon hitting the ground. Picking himself up, he dusts himself off and spits out a clump of dirt, purposely aiming his spit at Joel.
"I'll show you who deserves what," he hisses, crouching down as he prepares to spring at Joel and get in another scuffle, "That fire before was an accident--unfortunately, no one would believe me! You'd lose your mind too if--aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!"
Julius suddenly shrieks and cowers down to the ground as if paralyzed by fear of some horrible creature. His gaze falls beyond Joel--apparently at something behind him--but there is nothing there. Nothing that anyone else can see anyway.
"Keep it away from me! Keep it away!" he screams, running around in circles and finally scrabbling over top of Joel and diving away into the flames as if something is chasing him. His terrified screams echo throughout the jungle as he runs farther and farther away.

Joel was about to give chase, but the smake and fire was getting too intence. He ran out of the jungle, and onto the beach, where he fell to his knees, coughing.

"He could die in dare," Julien frets, staring at the flaming jungle, "I have to go find him. He may be a stupid, bliddering idiot, but he's still my brudder. If he was still sane, he'd do de same ting for me. I remember de real Julius and I know he's still dare somewhere."
Puffing his chest out, Julien shakes off the shivers and struts back into the jungle inferno to find his big brother and hopefully bring him to safety...and his senses.
