Julien moves swiftly through the smoldering jungle, ducking low under the thick smoke as he calls his brother's name over and over again. He still carries the blow-pipe and a few darts with him just to be safe if he finds Julius alive in this mess.

Julius is still in the jungle and still very much afraid--not of the fire, but of the things only he can see...things his mind twisted mind perceives as being real. He is hunkered down under a fallen, half-burned log, cowering and muttering to himself incoherently. He hears Julien's voice, but he thinks it's voices in his own head, so he does not answer.

"How am I ever going to find him in here?" Julien coughs, glancing up at his crown, which is wilting away from the heat and smoke, "He could be anywhere and de fire is still spreading!"

Julien looks back and shakes his head, eyes watering from the burning smoke filling the air. He ducks down lower still, trying to find breathable air.
"Not a trace," he sighs, moving on, "He has to be in here some--"
He stops in mid-sentence as he catches sight of a black and white ringed tail sticking out from under a burning log. Knowing it can only be his brother, he gets a sick feeling in his stomach, thinking Julius may be dead. Taking hold of the tail, he pulls until Julius is fully exposed.
"Julius?" he asks, turning him on his back and lightly tapping the side of his face, "Julius, say someting--anyting!"

Julius looks up at Julien and his frightened eyes suddenly darken with hatred as he grabs his younger brother by the throat.
"You!" he hisses venomously, "Now I have you and you...are...going...DOWN!"

"Big brudder! You're alive!" Julien squeaks around his constricted windpipe as Julius threatens to choke the life out of him, "And I tink you need to take a little rest. Dis should put your crazy mind at ease for a while."
He pulls out a dart and in one swift motion, he sticks Julius with it, then prays it will kick in quickly before the mad lemur literally chokes him to death.

Julius yelps as the dart hits him and he starts to growl at Julien, preparing to deliver a death blow to him, but then his expression suddenly relaxes and his paws drop away from Julien's throat.
"You'll pay for this...Julien," he mumbles just before losing consciousness altogether and falling asleep.

"Okay den, now dat dat's out of de way," Julien sighs, rubbing his throat, "We have to get him out of here."
He grabs Julius's feet and tail and leads the way back out to the beach.

"You'd tink he would be, not eating anyting healthy on his side of de island over dare," Julien mutters as they duck under the smoke and drag his unconscious brother out of the smoldering jungle.
"We found him," he reports to Tiki as they reach the shore, "He's harmless now and he should stay dat way for a few hours. Dat should give me time to get dat burn on his arm taken care of. De idiot was hiding under a burning log."

"He won't be too much trouble," Julien smirks as he pulls out a couple of vines, "He's not going anywhere even if he does wake up."
The self-proclaimed lord of the lemurs quickly binds Julius's feet and ties the other end of the vines around a huge boulder. He then starts taking care of the burn on Julius's arm. After that is taken care of, he will bind his brother's paws behind his back.
"Joel, tanks for helping me bring him out of dare," he smiles at the other lemur, "I know how much you hate his guts, so I know dat must have been a hard ting for you to do."

Joel looks at the sleeping julius."Yea... don't mention it... really, don't... ever..."Joel walked over to a tree stump on the beach and sat down with his back against it.He sat there watching over Julius, and having all the memories come back to him. His childhood, his torture. And the last time he ever seen his mother. He clenched a fist whenever he thought of that. But now wasn't the time, so he sat there looking at Julius, and he quietly, to himself, talked to his mother, asking questions such as why he was doing this. He started to tear up a bit, but wiped them away, hoping nobody had seen any of this.

After Julien secures his brother to a point where motion on his part is completely out of the question, he sinks down in the sand near Tiki, sensing that Joel needs some alone time.
"So...any ideas as to what we should do wid him?" he asks at length, loud enough for Joel to hear, "I was tinking about having him hanged, but...I just can't do dat. He needs to be punished, yes, but he is my brudder."

Joel got a dark look in his eyes.How about locking him in a cage not tall enough for him to stand in, and not long enough for him to lay down in? Or how giving him a few lashes with a whip? "Those ideas are all fine, but...we have to remember we're dealing wid a psychotic freak here," Julien replies thoughtfully, "He already prefers sticking himself in teeny-weeny spaces, pain doesn't phase him dat much, he likes darkness, he's already been starving himself for years on de desolate side of de island, and he gets a thrill out of cliff-hanging. So...what udder options do we have?"

"Really-really," Julien nods, stooping down to bury his own feet in the sand simply out of boredom, "It started when he was still pretty young. We'd be playing and he'd suddenly scream and cry and run to hide or run to our mudder for no apparent reason. We could only conclude dat he must have been seeing tings."
